DIgital cult guide

Our brief was to create a digital guide in a subject of our choosing.
I chose to research, define and visualize a number of famous cults in history. This guide is meant to be more than a place to find information about these cults - it’s meant to give an idea of how deep human influence can get.
My idea and inspiration for this project was to focus on the marketing characteristics of cults. All cults started by offering something to their potential members and using this types of bait to lure them in. Things like - success, salvation and sometimes even alien transformation. In order to do that, I wanted to use the visuals of old TVs and specifically the layout and language of tv shopping channels.
